In light of the recent statements by U.S. President Donald Trump, the State Department, and American envoy Witkoff, it’s clear that we are heading toward further escalation.

President Trump falsely claimed that Hamas never wanted a deal- an outright lie. In truth, Hamas has repeatedly shown willingness to bridge gaps and work toward a resolution. Meanwhile, the United States and Israel continue to stall, using delay tactics to push forward their inhumane plan to depopulate the Gaza Strip by making it uninhabitable.

At this critical moment, global solidarity with the Palestinian cause is more urgent than ever.

With famine officially reaching Level 5 and the number of deaths from starvation surpassing 117, the people of Gaza are being starved into submission while the world looks away. For 658 days, Palestinians have cried out to the international community to stop the genocide. But those cries have been met with silence- or, at best, empty words.

Western governments issue toothless statements and hollow threats while doing nothing to stop the atrocities. Their inaction only emboldens Israel’s campaign of collective punishment.

We know the days ahead will be even harder. That’s why now is the time- for Palestinians and allies alike- to act. Raise your voices. Share, post, write, and speak about Palestine louder than ever before. We must create the pressure that governments have failed to apply.

The people of Gaza need you. They depend on you.
